Los Angeles Portrait Photographer ~ Jenne

It was always Jenne’s dream to model and she decided to hire me to take some photos of her. So she flew in from Washington State and on her birthday, we met in downtown Los Angeles with her guide Adrienne. She is Deaf and Blind. It was an amazing shoot with them. I was very fascinated how Adrienne guided her by feeling her on how to pose. I included Adrienne in some candid photos. Their relationship reminds me of Helen Keller and her teacher/companion Anne Sullivan.

I painted the fairy wings for her below.

Jenne felt Adrienne’s head and body to feel how she should pose and you can see Jenne by herself below.

Adrienne was telling her about the water foundation. She turned water on for her. Jenne felt Adrienne’s sign saying “Ready” and Adrienne left her for Jenne to pose by the water foundation.

Malibu Beach Wedding Photographer ~ Eileen and John

I was asked to second shoot this wedding by their photographer Debbie. Eileen and John, both actors, met on set while working and the sparks flew. They knew they had to be with each other. Both enjoy activities such as running, hiking, and scuba diving with their children from previous marriages. On the shores of Zuma Beach, California, love happens. Thank you Debbie, Eileen and John for giving me the opportunity to shoot your wedding. Eileen and John, I hope you remember your “I love you” hand sign and use it to say to each other.

West Hollywood Wedding Photographer ~ Renee and Jose

Renee and Jose got married on my 17th wedding anniversary and this is also my first time shooting a wedding on my wedding anniversary. Every year I will always remember their wedding anniversary. They had their “First Look” wedding and it was was held at a funky hotel called Farmer’s Daughter where there are all different kinds of colored and patterned walls. The ceremony and reception were just few miles away at Bungalow Club, also a cool and trendy nightclub. I have added a slideshow link at the end to see the rest of their photos.

Waiting for Renee to meet him at the pool area.

Finally, Renee walked up behind him with the rest of the wedding party looking on through the pool gate.

Renee had tears of emotions when seeing him and the way he reacted when he saw her was so sweet!

Jose admiring her bouquet made of 65 brooches by her aunt Carrie. Renee is going to keep this bouquet as a keepsake to pass on to her next family member to use for their wedding. Wonderful idea!

Rancho Palos Verdes Portrait Photographer ~ Marissa

Look at Marissa, everything about her is so perfect. I love how she did her hair, and make up just like the 1940’s. She is so photogenic! It’s the third time I have taken photos of her. I am in love with her photos every time!
